Calton Hill

Calton Hill and Arthur's Seat are two hills that overlook all of Edinburgh. Wow. Karl told me I needed to make the trip, and he wasn't kidding. Logan, Stéph ne, and me took the trip before the pub crawl Thursday night.

What an amazing view. There are quite a few monuments and older buildings up there, of which I took a few pictures. The Nelson Monument had us a little stumped. The compass at the top was missing the West post. I'm not sure if that's just from weathered decay, or if there's some greater significance to it.

If you make it out to Edinburgh, take an hour or two and walk up to Calton Hill. I hear Arthur's Seat is even better, but there's a bit more work involved.
