So we got back around 6pm... and watched a movie. By our standards, these people eat dinner as a 4th meal. I was a little concerned why we weren't going to start cooking, so I asked. Apparently, in France (and Spain, interestingly enough) most people eat dinner around 9 or 10. I thought about this, and then considered this map:
European Time Zones
Now, considering that the European continent is roughly the same size as the continental US, do you see anything interesting? Could you imagine what the US would be like if we all ran on one timezone, say PST? I imagine we in the East coast would be eating dinner late, too.
